Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery named after. A.N.Bakuleva

Institute of Cardiac Surgery named after. IN AND. Burakovsky

    • Address: 121552, Moscow, Rublevskoe highway, 135.

For those who travel on their own

From the Molodezhnaya metro station by bus or minibus No. 127, 626 to the Cherepkovo stop, or by bus No. 660 to the Bakulev Institute stop (stops directly next to the center).

From the Krylatskoye metro station take bus number 626 to the Cherepkovo stop.

From the Shchukinskaya metro station by bus or minibus No. 798 to the Bakulev Institute stop (stops directly next to the center) or by minibus No. 777 to the Cardiological stop.

From the “Cherepkovo” stop, take the underground passage (see map) to the opposite side of Rublevskoye Highway and walk up the path (shown in the diagram with an arrow labeled “to the NCSS”), which will lead you to the main entrance to our center. In order to leave our center, go down the same path along which you came here, the stop is on the same side.

    For those with a car

If you are driving from the center of Moscow along Rublevskoye Shosse, then at the fork in Rublevskoye and Rublevo-Uspenskoye Shosse (it goes left), change lanes to the right (preferably the second) and continue straight along Rublevskoye Shosse (right road). The line of movement is indicated on the map with a yellow dotted line with arrows. 70 meters after the fork, opposite the traffic police post there will be a U-turn, at which you need to turn left (to the U-turn) and move towards the Center, about 200 meters. Having overcome a slight rise, after the traffic light in front of the traffic police post, turn right at the sign “Cardiology Center” and follow the direction of the road. This street is called 3rd Cherepkovskaya. On the right you will see the building of our Center. You can park your car near the center. Attention! To avoid problems with traffic police officers, obey the speed limit.

If you are driving along the Moscow Ring Road in the direction of the North, i.e. towards Rublevskoye, Dmitrovskoye and Volokolamskoye highways, then before the junction with Rublevo-Uspenskoye highway you will pass under a pedestrian crossing across the Moscow Ring Road. Move in the right lane and approximately 500 m after it you will see a sign “Cardiology Center”. Turn right and go straight. To your right will be the buildings and entrances of the Cardiology Center (this is not our center). Drive further and to the left of the road you will see our Center (indicated in orange on the map).

Attention! When moving along the Moscow Ring Road, carefully follow the signs. Change lanes to the far right lane in advance, as... There are always a lot of trucks there, and it’s not easy to break through the dense wall. The sign “Cardiology Center” is very easy to pass, but it will be very difficult to return!

If you are driving along the Moscow Ring Road in the direction of the South to the junctions with Rublevskoye and Rublevo-Uspenskoye highways, then you can get to our center by turning at the junction following the sign “Rublevskoye Highway - Center” onto Rublevskoye Highway in the direction of the Center of Moscow, or at the next junction follow the sign “Rublevo-Uspenskoe Highway - Center” onto Rublevo-Uspenskoe Highway, which turns into Rublevo-Uspenskoe Highway. Further, at the confluence of the two highways, in front of the traffic police post (see on the map), turn right following the sign “NTs SSH im. A.N. Bakulev" and follow the direction of the road, on the right you will see the building of our center (indicated on the map in orange and signed "NCSSH named after A.N. Bakulev").

If you suddenly passed the junctions with Rublevskoye and Rublevo-Uspenskoye highways. Don't worry! This is possible, given the fact that the junctions with Rublevskoye and Rublevo-Uspenskoye highways may be closed for an indefinite period of time when government motorcades travel along these highways, which happens quite often. So, you are moving along the Moscow Ring Road to the South, you reach the sign “Molodogvardeiskaya Street”, after which turn right following this sign. The road passes over the Moscow Ring Road, so all you have to do is make a U-turn, performing a “half-clover” to end up on the Koltsevaya again. Next, see how to get there if you are moving along the Moscow Ring Road to the North.

Coronary angiography of the heart and blood vessels at the National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery named after. A.N. Bakuleva

Coronary angiography (coronary angiography - CG) is the “gold” standard for diagnosing coronary heart disease.

This is an invasive research method. Images of the arteries that supply the heart, the coronary arteries, are achieved by injecting them with a contrast agent through special catheters. Catheters are inserted into the heart vessels through a small puncture in the wrist or, if necessary, through the groin area. Coronary angiography provides the doctor with all the necessary information about the condition of the coronary arteries.

Considering that radial access (through the wrist) is currently used to perform coronary angiography, bed rest after the procedure is not required. The duration of the study itself is 15-20 minutes.
