ILBI is an effective method of physiotherapy aimed at detoxifying the blood from breakdown products of ethyl alcohol. Thanks to the influence of intravenous laser irradiation of blood, the functioning of internal organs and systems is normalized.
Mechanism of laser blood irradiation
Laser irradiation of blood is based on the impact of waves of different lengths - from the infrared to the ultraviolet spectrum, which significantly increases the effectiveness of the procedure. A special LED is injected into the patient's cubital vein and left there for 20-40 minutes. By the end of the treatment course, which consists of 5-10 sessions, a pronounced positive effect is recorded that lasts for 3-4 months.
ILBI (intravenous laser blood irradiation) - how does it work?
ILBI is based on the fact that a photobiological effect on the blood is carried out by a beam of red light. The essence of the method is that a needle is inserted into a vein (most often into the superficial ulnar vein), and an LED is located at its tip. The blood is irradiated for 10-30 minutes (the duration of the session depends on the type of disease and the type of laser). And at this moment, blood cells absorb the energy of light quanta, which allows them to activate all their functions, they begin to work more efficiently in the body and this allows organs and tissues to recover faster.
The ILBI procedure saturates tissues with oxygen, as it improves microcirculation and has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect. A course of intravenous laser irradiation usually includes five to ten sessions, which are carried out every other day, but patients say that the improvement is noticeable after the first procedure.
ILBI is well tolerated, relieves pain well and generally improves well-being. Laser irradiation of blood increases the elasticity of blood vessels, restores blood circulation to the heart muscle and brain, and reduces blood pressure. ILBI therapy makes it possible to quickly get rid of infections and promotes cell and tissue regeneration. Patients with problematic and aging skin are increasingly resorting to this method, since ILBI helps to achieve good results in this case as well. This method allows you to simultaneously influence all mechanisms of disease development and normalize the functioning of all body systems. Thus, we can say that ILBI triggers a self-healing mechanism.
Why is the intravenous technique used?
For detoxification, narcologists use an invasive method - intravenous irradiation, since during the passage through the skin the main indicators of laser radiation (coherence/polarization) are lost. With the external technique, radiation migrates to neighboring tissues, so monitoring the dose becomes problematic.
For ILBI, age, gender and blood volume do not matter much - the method works equally effectively regardless of the patient’s individual data.
Indications for the use of ILBI
The main indications for the use of intravenous laser blood therapy are;
- pneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis and other respiratory diseases;

In our clinic we can offer you the ILBI procedure , which will be performed by qualified specialists. We use a special new generation device for intravenous laser treatment of blood, which uses lasers.
The doctor will be able to select the optimal treatment regimen using intravenous laser blood irradiation (ILBI) and the necessary medications. This will help to quickly achieve a full recovery and reduce the drug load on the body.
Treatment of alcoholism
Laser irradiation of blood has an antioxidant effect, increases the oxygen capacity of the blood, and stimulates the production of immune cells. These and other advantages allow the technique to be used in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction.
The high effectiveness of ILBI has been noted in the treatment of chronic alcoholism, when the patient’s functioning of almost all organs and systems is already impaired.
The use of ILBI for intoxication and alcohol dependence helps to alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal syndrome, reduce cravings for alcohol, and normalize the functioning of the cardiovascular, nervous, and hepatobiliary systems.

How is the procedure performed?
Using a laser radiation device, a special disposable needle with an LED at the end is inserted into the patient’s vein. Waves of a certain frequency emanate from it. These waves do not enter the blood vessels through the layers of the skin, so it is necessary to introduce them into the circulatory system using a minimally invasive method.
The laser beam affects all blood cells that are near the LED. ILBI stimulates metabolic processes in them, increasing biological functionality.
The manipulation does not require preliminary preparation and can be performed at any age on an outpatient basis. The duration of the session is 25-30 minutes. To achieve the maximum therapeutic effect, ILBI is prescribed in short courses of 5-10 procedures, which are carried out once a day or once every 2 days (depending on the indications). The healing effect of laser light therapy lasts from 4 to 6 months. In case of severe disease, courses are repeated once every 2-3 months.
What are the effects based on?
The latest technologies have made it possible to develop to the incredible, to improve what humanity has known about since ancient times. So this technique developed the idea of light therapy to the maximum.
Its beneficial effects on the body can be called complex. It is provided at 3 levels:
- The impact of light energy quanta on blood elements;
- Improving blood properties;
- Systemic response at the level of tissues and organs.

A wide range of therapeutic effectiveness allows the use of laser therapy for a variety of pathologies. The use of supravenous illumination is recommended in the following cases:
- diseases of the musculoskeletal system (including as part of complex therapy for autoimmune rheumatoid arthritis): NLBI promotes the regeneration of cartilage tissue, reducing pain and inflammation;
- cardiovascular disorders: the effectiveness of this method has been proven for hypertension, atherosclerosis, arrhythmia, it is practiced in rehabilitation after heart attacks and strokes;
- skin diseases: a decrease in the severity of itching, swelling, redness, and accelerated healing of the epithelium are noted;

- increasing the protective functions of the body;
- relief of smooth muscle spasms;
- improvement of blood composition;
- activation of regeneration processes;
- elimination of edema;

- improvement of blood and lymph flow.
What is the meaning of the procedure
Laser radiation used during the procedure can increase the level of deformation of erythrocytes - red blood cells. These cells are responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body. This is a vital function, since cells cannot function without oxygen. Not a single process proceeds without the participation of this most important element.
Deformability allows red blood cells to change shape while keeping their volume constant. Microcirculation directly depends on deformability. When performing their main (transport) mission, red blood cells need to move through capillaries. The diameter of the lumen in the latter can vary, narrowing and expanding in different areas. If red blood cells had a permanent, unchanging shape, they would not be able to deliver oxygen to all the nooks and crannies of the body. As a result, the tissues would not be able to carry out full gas exchange and would suffer from hypoxia, thereby disrupting the balance and health of the entire organism. ILBI helps to increase the deformability index and significantly improve the condition of the body.
Why is the ability of red blood cells to deform important?
Studies have confirmed the connection between reducing DE and many diseases. Among the main ones:
- Arterial hypertension.
- Dyspepsia in the first year of life in children.
- Ischemic disease.
- Heart attack.
- Diabetes.
- Metabolic syndrome.
- Cholesterolemia.
- Pneumonia.
- Accumulation of oxidative reaction products and a decrease in antioxidant content.
- Change in normal acid-base balance.
The use of ILBI during the treatment of patients with the described problems shows a sharp improvement in the clinical picture.
